Watchmen

What's with all the hate? The Watchmen movie was awesome and all that it should have been. I just finished re-reading the Watchmen graphic novel and am in awe at how consistent the movie is with the book. Sure, if you're expecting action like in a Jason Statham flick, sure you might be disappointed. If you know the story or expect an epic story instead of a run-of-the-mill superhero movie you should enjoy it.

The actors chosen to play each part were perfect. Some didn't look just like the book (Ozymandias, being the weakest look-a-like, though still perfect), but they played the characters perfectly, in my opinion.

I enjoyed every minute of Watchmen and can't wait to see it on Blu Ray at home. I'm disappointed that the loudest reviews for this movie are negative. Such reviews aren't going to convince the studios to make more movies like this, unfortunately.
