Adobe Flash CS3
From: Adobe (formerly Macromedia) Price: $499 (full), $199 (upgrade)I've been a Flash user since version 3 (1998). Back then, Flash was primarily for web animations and graphics. Now, Flash has turned into a complete web interface tool. Flash is fairly easy to learn (which is why so many people are able to build ugly interfaces with it), but still has a steep learning curve for any of the advanced features. I still haven't tapped all of the new features Flash has to offer, simply because the web user-base doesn't keep up with the plugins as much as they should. But from what I've done, Studio 8 has the best interface, most features and is easiest to use. I've got the whole Studio of Macromedia products. I've no need for Flash Pro features... I won't let any of the Adobe/Macromedia programs hold my hand through a project... even if it does save me a bit of time. But, for what Flash is good for, Flash MX 2004 Flash 8 Flash CS3 is definetly the best.
