Things

From: Cultured Code
Price: $49 (currently in beta)

Task management has always been important to me. I'm involved in many projects with varying methods of management and clients, and Things is by far the best way to manage my type of workflow. When I get a phone call or email, I can easily add that "to-do" to the respective project and include tags, due date, notes, etc.

The interface is very OS X which is nice, and is very intuitive. This, like many other GTD applications, don't seem to sync with other services... but with the imminent death of the PDA, this is becoming less of an issue. Things lets you assign project based, prioritized, categorized, to-dos, while my Blackberry or Palm just give me a basic list for the most part. They'll have an iPhone synced version of Things in June (don't have an iPhone myself, though).

Though still in beta, Things has become an important element in my daily project management workflow. It's an excellent application and I hope Cultured Code continues to improve it up to and beyond it's official release.
